What's with that???
Most newer vehicles have anti-start/theft systems to protect the vehicle from being stolen (started without a key). These typically are a transponder or 'chip' imbeded in the key which sends out a low powered, 80 bit or higher encripted signal to the car's computer identifying it as one of the only keys in the world that can start the vehicle! The easiest way to bypass this system is to take one of those keys and place it in with the remote starter, to fool the car's computer when the remote start is activated. But you don't get your key back  !! Replacement keys can cost hundred of dollars. That's old school and unreliable. We use the newest technology by DEI, Fortin and Idatalink, they make Bypass modules that can 'clone" the encription from your key. Leaving you with all your keys!  !
